The main runway is used for recreational aviation today. Other runways are used for driver training, outdoor storage and hosting events. The hangers and sheds are home to a number of established businesses.
The airfield is located near the village of Errol, lying along the northern bank of the River Tay and set in the heart of the Perthshire Countryside. It is halfway between Perth and Dundee and within a one hour drive of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
